The Arizona Department of Public Safety is looking into a fatal accident on US 60 close to Show Low.

The accident occurred at milepost 318, close to the town of Carrizo, approximately 22 miles southwest of Show Low, and it involved an SUV. According to DPS, speeding and driver exhaustion might have played roles in causing the collision.
The car was discovered in a steep ravine and needed to be retrieved by a tow truck, according to the DPS.
The victim has not been identified.
