For the first time, businesses and local residents are unlocking the doors to a new indoor marketplace. Lackawanna County.
The marketplace situated on Prescott Avenue in Dunmore now houses numerous establishments that previously operated at Sugerman's location. A big mall in Eynon that shut down following problems with the structure.
Organizers indicate that this is a significant occasion for numerous stores that had been experiencing a decline in income following the loss of their former space.
Gabriell Percival, one of the co-founders, states, "Growing up, we frequently visited markets and fairs across various places, developing a deep affection for them. We thought, why not share this experience with others and create a gathering spot where the whole community can unite?"
Guests had the chance to explore different booths featuring items such as sourdough bread, Pokémon collectibles, swords, and vintage toys.
