The state isn't the only organization choosing to be transparent. In a detailed statement, blog post Aventon outlined their response to the recent tariffs and provided insights into their supply chain operations. They mentioned that various companies within the sector, including Aventon itself, have shifted bicycle production out of China to different locations in Southeast Asia. This transition has incurred certain expenses though. As they pointed out, "The supply chain infrastructure in Southeast Asia isn’t as developed." Additionally, they highlighted that many essential components continue to be manufactured in China and hence remain subject to these new American trade duties.
