SEOUL (digitalwealthpath2025) – According to state news agency KCNA, North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un recently visited an “essential” tank manufacturing facility where he highlighted significant advancements in the development of domestically produced main battle tanks’ key technologies.
He stated that manufacturing advanced tanks and armored vehicles is crucial for updating the military and achieving the governing party's vision of "the second revolution in armored power."
Kim's visit coincides with an extensive effort to upgrade North Korea’s traditional military equipment alongside its nuclear and missile capabilities. Recently, the country's leadership observed the unveiling of a new naval destroyer as well as trials of advanced drones and various other weaponry.
U.S. and South Korean authorities have indicated their belief that North Korea is offering ammunition, missiles, and personnel to aid Russia’s involvement in the conflict in Ukraine, allegedly in exchange for certain technical and military assistance from Russia. However, concrete evidence of these exchanges has yet to be substantiated.
