Nahda Tech Launches Tech Bootcamp in Damascus

Damascus, Syria – May 4, 2025 — Acknowledging the growing need for accessible technology training and job opportunities throughout Syria, Nahda Tech will be hosting its first 2-day Bootcamp in Damascus from May 10-11. This event aims to foster regional cooperation and uncover local talent.

Designed to upskill aspiring developers and career switchers, the Nahda Tech Bootcamp will provide hands-on training, mentorship, and direct connections with hiring partners who have pledged to recruit talent during the event. This initiative aims to address the tech skills gap in Syria, while spotlighting the untapped potential of Syrian talent to regional employers.

Our objective is to equip young Syrians with practical skills and link them to significant job opportunities," stated Nour Halabi, co-founder of Nahda Tech. "Through engaging employers from the Gulf region and throughout the Arab world, our goal is to establish Syria as a competitive and affordable center for remote and outsourced technical expertise.

Increase awareness throughout the Gulf and MENA regions regarding Syria’s developing technology sector.
